New generation of fuel cell system series

REFIRE has a portfolio of fuel cell systems with different ranges

PRISMA series ranges from 60kW to 110kW, engineered for the most challenging transport applications, including public transport, municipal services, medium and heavy-duty extra-urban logistics.  With PRISMA series, REFIRE and its partners are committed to carbon footprint reduction in more applicatoin areas.

CAVEN series ranges from 32kW to 50kW has been widely applied to different types of commercial vehicles, including light duty and mass transit applications.

About Us

Founded in 2015, REFIRE is a leading supplier of hydrogen fuel cell (FC) technology in China and has been scaling into multiple R&D, manufacturing and engineering services. By 2020 Q3, REFIRE has delivered fuel cell systems (FCS) and offered application engineering solutions to over 70 prototype vehicle models by cooperating with China’s leading automobile enterprises, including FAW, Dongfeng, Yutong and Zhongtong, making REFIRE a FC technology supplier that co-developed the largest number of  FCV models in China. So far, around 40% of all operating fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) in China are powered by REFIRE technology, which has also been widely applied in FCVs in the United States, Japan, Germany, Malaysia and around the globe, with a total cumulative mileage over 4,500 kilometers.

REFIRE’s strategic footprint is in line with the growth of hydrogen fuel cell applications for both domestic and overseas markets, whilst helping to maintain end-to-end excellence in areas such as technology advancement, product R&D, and manufacturing to offer the best FCS products to customers. November 2019 saw the completion of REFIRE’s new corporate headquarter, a 25,000㎡ R&D campus in Shanghai. It houses advanced labs and test facilities which allows for the development of FC key components to complete FCS and prototype vehicles assembly. Commissioned in July 2017, REFIRE’s Yunfu manufacturing plant currently produces 5,000 units of FCS annually with capacity expandable up to 20,000. In August 2020, a new industrialization hub was commissioned in Changshu in three phases for the mass production of fuel cell systems and key auxiliary components.

REFIRE currently employs about 500 people, of which 40% hold a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in the R&D team. Relying on an extensive portfolio of patents, standardized development process, total quality management, and advanced engineering and trial-production capability, REFIRE pursues a competitive and sustainable growth. By Q3 2020, REFIRE has applied for more than 98 patents, with 49 granted ones on the technologies of fuel cell integration, thermal management and system control. Also, the company has passed ISO9001:2015 and IATF16949:2016 quality system certification.
